What you send through this site's forms stays with us.Waitlist and beta sign-ups, clinician preview requests and contact messages are stored in Achetrace's own database, not with a third-party form service, and only Achetrace operators can read them. Our launch email to the waitlist, and the confirmation link we send when you ask to withdraw, are sent through Postmark, our email provider, which receives your email address only to deliver them. We delete each waitlist sign-up once its launch email has been sent, and beta sign-ups when we launch, or earlier if you withdraw your consent. Deleted sign-ups leave our backups as those expire: within 35 days for most backups, and 13 months for long-term ones. Clinician preview requests and contact messages are kept for 12 months. To withdraw your consent and delete your sign-up, use the withdraw page, which emails you a confirmation link. You can also use the contact form to withdraw or ask for deletion.

Privacy FAQ

Specific answers beat vague reassurance.

How do I take myself off the waitlist or beta list?

Use the withdraw page. Enter the address you signed up with; if it has a sign-up, a confirmation link goes to it by email, and nothing is deleted until you open the link and confirm. You can also use the contact form on the About page.

What does the Mac companion collect?

Totals only: active computer time, your longest unbroken session, breaks of five minutes or more, and late-night use.

Does it watch my screen?

No. The companion never captures keystrokes, screenshots, screen recordings, URLs, clipboard contents, document names, window titles, or message content.

Does the camera run continuously?

No. A posture check runs only when you start it, for 5 to 15 seconds. Frames are processed on your iPhone, and no photo is saved or uploaded.

What happens to my voice recordings?

Speech recognition turns what you say into text, Achetrace shows you the text, and the app discards the audio. Recordings are never uploaded to Achetrace, and nothing is saved until you review it.

Do AirPods measure my neck?

No. They estimate head tilt, not neck angle. Achetrace shows it on its own and never combines it with camera checks into a single score.

Can I delete my data?

Yes. Delete your account in the app, and its data is removed from our servers and from the app.

Does Achetrace use AI?

Not cloud AI. Insights come from statistics on your own data, and no cloud AI provider receives your data at launch.
